I'm in a hurry this week, and not only do I find roses hard to use in art, but I am catching myself trying to do too much. A very simple one this time, using a distress ink background, and collage papers making up some of the background. The bottom ones are copies of vintage match box tops. The top one a vintage Wills tobacco cigarette card. I stuck some roses at the side to frame the image and added three metal roses.
Lovely tag, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat's so lovely, the images are very sweet :o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag Wendy and what a great idea to use cigarette card images.
ReplyDeleteTake a deep breath and slow down :)

You say simple, I say super!
ReplyDeleteLovely vintage tag. Sometimes a tag comes together quickly with the right elements. The cigarette cards are perfect!

lovely! xo
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really like how this has come together. The tall roses are such a fabulous contrast to the rectangular images you have used. Works so well.
