The 1950's

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and have had a fine week, whatever you have been up to.  Thank you for all the kind comments on my Rose tag last week. It was so lovely to see so many beautiful entries :D

This week I wasn't sure what to do until I started going through my stash and came across some jubilee celebration papers, and then I knew.

Queen Elizabeth's coronation was in the 1950's; 1952 to be precise, so that is what I went with; a collage of brightly coloured elements.  The backing paper was part of a gift from a friend, from where I also cut out the bunting and the bird. I found some puff stickers of the grenadier guards and buckingham palace, a wooden crown that I added some gems to and stamped the date onto, and the bird, to which I added some wink of stella, for added sparkle.

I look forward to seeing all the different interpretations of this weeks theme and until next time, 'Tag, you're it!'

Take care, be well, and be happy **hugs** :o) Mo x

  4. Hi Mo, I love this bright cheerful tag - I love all the elements you have used. I do remember what a cheerful occasion that was - when the new Queen visited Australia, my dad even decorated his truck.
