JAPAN

Bonjour!

First of all I would like to say what gorgeous garden party tags you all posted last week - sorry I couldn't comment individually.  Thanks to everyone who wished me well for our garden party/bbq to celebrate my husband's birthday - it was a great evening despite it raining!

This week I have collaged my tag with a selection of authentic Japanese papers that I have had in my stash forever!  I then edged a plain piece with gold embossing powder and attached a mini origami folded kimono for the centerpiece., finished off with a tassel.  Hope you like it.  Am off now to see what you have all been up to.

Love
Carolyn xx

  4. The origami paper piecing on the background frames your sweet mini origami kimono beautifully. I love the positioning of the mat too, and that tassel was an excellent finishing touch. Blessings!
