India

I wasn't entirely sure what I was going to do for this week, but then when inspiration struck, I had lots of fun :D

Many thanks for your lovely comments on my 'Pear' tag last week. I really enjoyed seeing the variety of fruity concoctions.

This week I used a large tag, drew around my hand and then did some designs with a sepia pen. Henna, or, Mehndi designs, were originally only for womens palms, but now, more and more men have them as well. The designs are used mainly for weddings, religious events & traditional cermeonies as a symbol of good luck.
The background is magenta watercolour.
Thanks for looking.
((hugs)), Mo :o) x

  1. Very beautiful tag Mo. They do say great minds think alike so I hope that is true as I had thought along the same lines for my tag

  5. Oooh, you have such a lovely slim hand! When I draw round my hand, it looks more like a cats paw than a hand, lol. Very pretty patterns, you ought to try doing it on your hand for real! I dare you, tehehe.
