In The Style Of

Hello fellow taggers, I hope you are well and haven't been suffering too badly with the extreme weather that has been felt in many places lately.

Many thanks for your positive comments on my text tag last week, I enjoyed reading them all very much. There was such a fabulous variety of inspiring tags.

This week the theme is In The Style Of.... At first I choked and fretted, but as our own Valerie recently took part in a challenge where the theme was Inspired by, I was, in turn, inspired by her work, here.

I really like Piet Mondrian's work and hope I have done justice to his style. Another artist, whose work I enjoy, is our very own Lynn "Doodly Bird" Holland. Who can resist the charms of her Doodly Birds, especially as they regularly appear with a funny story.

I used a Pitt pen for the black lines and pro markers for all the colouring. I haven't decided on a tie yet.

Thanks for looking. Be well, be safe, and be happy ((hugs)) :o) Mo x

Edited to add a link to Wee Man's very first tag, I hope you will pop over to have a look and leave him a wee comment. xx

  6. an inspired tag to combine two favourite artists ... the doodly birds always cheer wherever they are and whatever story they are in and Piet Mondrian is a classic (studied him too during my art studies at uni) ... well done for a gorgeous tag Mo xx
