Found Objects

Bonjour!

My found objects for this week's tag are two cones that I found beneath my friend's cedar trees.  She has three massive ones in her garden and they produce these fascinating rose like cones, so pretty!

I kept the background very simple, using  kraft tags, one of which I crackled and cut up.  I finished off with some twine, cotton lace and a metal butterfly charm.

Have a lovely crafty week everyone.

  1. Just love those cones, it would have saved some money if I had a tree like that. Instead I bought Tim's tattered pine cone die, which I am hopeless at making. Love your tag.

  4. Lovely tag! the crackled and torn strips behind the cones almost look like birch bark - very nice contrast behind the brown! Those are really cool cones too (I'd go snatch up a few more myself). :)
