Hi again Tag Tuesday friends! Since the holidays are fast approaching I only had time for one tag this week and I had a really hard time photographing it! I wasn't able to capture the shimmer of the green background at all. This is probably the sparkliest tag I've ever done (and a perfect excuse to use my new Tilda sequins)! These are all images of vintage jewelry which I made dimensional with Stickles, Glossy Accents, foil sheets (for the stems) and shimmer paint. Thanks again for all your kind comments (really warms my heart!). I hope your holidays are warm and happy!

This is really gorgeous, what a wonderful, sparkly tag you made. You asked how I made mine - The background on mine was painted, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heated till it bubbled. Then I collaged scraps of paper and bits of gold leafing. The birds are part of a photo I took, I added them digitally together with the baubles. Hugs, Valerie

Our Christmas here down under will be warm , no doubt about it . You tag is a gem . The birds and flowers along with the sparkle and shiny sequins all cleverly arranged make for special eye candy .

ReplyDeletethanks for your comment and question about the fibers on my celestial tag. unfortunately i must tell you that i obtained the fibers from a garage sale! so i cannot tell you more specifically where it is from. there is a label on the roll that says "muensch yarns" and "cleo" if that helps... xo
