For my tag this week, I have reverted to using used tea bags as an art material.... I think I have done a few windows tags with tea bags in previous years. The image was printed onto tea bag paper, and then I coloured the tea bag with pencil over a texture sheet to create the semblance of an old wall. I also cut some text from an abandoned book to add a bit of mysterious narrative to the tag. To create a window frame, I stitched strips of an additional tea bag around the image.

  1. This is incredibly clever and new to me. Gorgeous result!

  2. Really wonderful Wilma! Hugs, Vaerie

  3. Fabulous, love it. Great idea to use tea bags.

  4. Wow - this is fabulous - so clever!

  5. Lovely combination of elements and techniques. I haven't tried tea bag paper, it looks good , so I will put it on my" to try" list.
