Down the Street...

This week's tag was inspired by a  black line drawing I saw while looking up something else on the internet, but do you think I can find it again? I hope it may be recognisable to some of you as I would like to acknowledge the original although mine is very different in technique and style. Recently I have been working a bit with newsprint, so for this tag, I just cut out some columns from the travel section of the Sunday paper - some of it is about housing. Then I drew with black felt pen over the top of the glued on bits of newsprint. The road was a photo of a road in the same section of the newspaper and the moon is a painted piece of kitchen absorbent paper .... Down the Street - A row of houses .... at nightfall!

  6. This tag is super cool!!! I love the fact that you used actual newspaper text!! The moon is really pretty - is the kitchen absorbent paper a paper towel??
