Poppies

Hi Everybody!

Welcome to a new challenge  hosted by our lovely and talented Wendy, who has chosen the theme of poppies. As always, tags of all formats are welcome, and you have 2 weeks to link  to us. And thanks to all who joined in Michele's 'Edgar Allan Poe' challenge for the super and scary tags you showed. Here is Wendy to tell you all about her challenge:

'This fortnight it's my turn to host the swap on Tag Tuesday. As it is the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, I have chosen poppies as my theme. My Grandfather fought at Gallipoli and the North African desert, so it's a theme close to my heart. I also love poppies, and have ended up with a garden that won't grow them.

You don't have to go down that road, painted, collaged, die cut poppies will be great. Do your own thing, mine are just to give you some inspiration.

The bottom one is made up with die cuts on a distress inked background. The top one is printed images with some die cuts to break up the straight lines of the images.'
