Down on the farm

Hi Everybody!

Today we are staring a new challenge, and I am hosting. But first of all I would like to thank all who joined in Wendy's ladybird challenge. I enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing your creations.

My theme this week is 'Down on the Farm', and anything and everything farm related is welcome - sheep, cows, horses, chickens, geese, ducks, fields of grain, haystacks, people, stables, barns, the people who work there, farming implements, the people who work there - you name it, it will be right! As always, tags of all formats are welcome, real, hybrid and digital, large or small.
And this time I will be giving a little prize for one, randomly drawn participant.

My first tag is with a handsome rooster, and was made from collaged pieces of a napkin. When the paste had dried I sewed it to a dark background and added some feathers for embellishment. I will be showing more tags regularly in the next 2 weeks on my blog Bastelmania.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you make!
Stay creative and have fun!

Valerie

    1. Good idea! We made a whole farm using lino cuts when I was still teaching, it was great fun!

    2. That sounds like fun! I started my farm animal sketches and made a miniature one of the pig for the tag. So fun what can be done with one sketch. Exploring all the possibilities. Enjoy your weekend.

  4. That's a great tag, Valerie - such rich colours in both the image and the little feathers. I'm sorry I didn't get around to a ladybird tag but I will give it a go this fortnight.
