Anything Vintage? Has to be lace!

Mention vintage, and thats what I will think of immediately - LACE. It is probably my biggest passion, I have been hunting for lace at boot fairs and vide greniers/brocantes ( english and french equivalent of flea markets ) for many many years.

I covered a tag in a piece of very wide vintage French lace in a delicious shade of light cafe au lait.Glued very fine French embroidered scalloped fabric to both edges. A little oval pic of an Edwardian girl, vintage lace motifs, velvet leaves and a bit of bling and that was about it.

    Liz ,it is a most fabolous tag, the lovely light greens with beige, and sweet image , the flowers ,all so beautifully arranged to be this wonderful tag.
