I fancied making 2 tags this week.....
(Gravity is Love) |
Recycled Joe Browns clothing tag,
blended paper background, gessoed
Winter Olympics postage stamp, crackle glazed
bit of twinkle round the edge
original anonymous quote.
(Finding Myself) |
Standard luggage tag
blended paper background, gessoed
original vintage image from old (1900's) girl's annual
glass bead
quote re-worded from the original by Peggy Fleming,
"I think skating helped me find myself."
Photo looks like it's been taken in a coal bunker,
but it was just a gloomy day (again!).
PS I have to say that looking at all your beautiful tags
has been incredibly inspirational.
However, commenting on all of them
takes up too much of my limited and precious 'arting'
time. I will still enjoy looking at all the tags
but please do not think me impolite if I do not always comment.
I hope you understand.

Love that you used recycled tags to make new, creative & beautiful tags!!
ReplyDeleteLovely tags, especially the little verses. This is a perfect size item for little rhymes, etc. PS dont worry about comments, we must all be feeling the same way! its easy to spend hours on-line and not have time to create. Jane xx

ReplyDeleteJoanna, so much depth and texture in your backgrounds, loving them as always.
ReplyDeletePeggy Flemming lives in the same town as I do, and although it's not a big place, I have never run into her. Ah well.
Very beautiful tags Joanna. Love the distressed layers and your choic of images and words
ReplyDeleteAbout the commenting - we all understand. It is the same for all of us. The group is large and it's time consuming to comment on all the tags ... although I am doing my best to visit each and every one. The main thing is to enjoy the challenge and have fun making your tags x
Love your ideas and the way the string edges the stamp . Lots of inspiration here for me.
ReplyDeleteThx.
Ingrid
Exquisite tags.
ReplyDeleteHeh Jo - I've been having computer glitches recently and limited in my posting - but I had to come over and say how much I LOVE both your tags - using the stamp on the first one was a brilliant idea :)...
