Vintage
Running behind schedule again this week, but we have had a week of celebrating the Chinese New Year... so my "vintage" tag this week features an image of my great grandmother, printed onto silk which was then painted and over stamped with Chinese writing. The next layer is a printed sheer, also over stamped with the same stamp as the background . The layers were stitched to an old luggage tag and then an old Chinese coin and a snippet of sari waste ribbon attached. All the contributions to Tag Tuesday are so impressive - thank you so much for your inspiration. I also apologize that I haven't had the time this week to comment much to compliment all of the fantastic art here.
