Books
I chose one of my favourite childhood (pre-teen) books, "Pied Piper" by Nevil Shute. I've lost track of how many times I've read it. It's set in France in WW2 so I've used a map of Western Europe in 1940 as background, a pic of the front cover and a Stuka as the next layer (all found on the internet). I've added some TH tape and a token then overstamped with a TH stamp and and some TJ Designs stamps from the "Journey to France" collection. Finished off with an old postage stamp and some tricolore ribbon.

A great tag and you've captured the mood beautifully. This is not a Neville Shute book I've read so I shall track it down as I like what I've read of his so far. Thank you for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteI've never read this one, but the tag is great. I think a lot of us will be trying to track this story down!xx
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love the collage effect! Right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, must read this one! May x x
ReplyDeleteFantastic - and another book to look for in the library! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour collaged tag has really captured the spirit of this book. I am led to re read this as it's been quite awhile since I've read any Shute
ReplyDeleteYour tag has a lovely vintage feel to it. Another author I enjoyed as a young adult.
ReplyDeleteI love all the elements to this tag.... the ribbon is the perfect finishing touch!
