Lace flowers

I love lace. Adore it. Collect it. Have lots of it. So of course my first thought was to raid my stash of glorious antique lace in shades of antique white, cream, and ecru and use those for this week's tag. And then I realised that I had already made 3 white-ish, lacy tags this month and I needed to come up with something different.

I think I must really really be longing for Spring to arrive, because lately I have been thinking in pinks and greens and yellows and craving sweet pastely Spring colours. So, instead of the usual white and cream laces I have used coloured laces for this tag.

I put a piece of black lace over a brown luggage tag to simulate the ground the flowers are growing in, and made lace flowers in pinks and yellow. I just needed to add a few leaves to the flowers, and that was it.

And now I am off to admire and drool over all the other gorgeous LACE tags.
