Here is my Baking tag
I don't have any fancy paints/inks, dyes/dies,
stamps, charms or even sticky pads; so in an attempt to make something
that wasn't just cut out of a magazine and glued on in some way,
looking flat, I used a bit of blue tack to raise the spoon up a
little, the tip of which I slipped into a slit I made in the cupcake
and I wrote a wee recipe that I then ripped up and stuck bits of it
down in a 'random' manner
The backing is a picture I cut from a Tesco
magazine. The cupcake at top centre is actually a jibbitz and I just
liked the picture of the little girl. I also added a bit of a
crocheted frill, like icing, or a bun case, along the top. Overall I
think I'm quite happy with the way it turned out :)
Mo - on flickr
I have to tell you Mo you have taken to doing these tags like a duck to water. This one is brilliant.

One I Made Earlier Today
Ahh, thank you Lynn, that is very kind of you xx
ReplyDeleteIt's a great little tag Mo, as soon as I saw it on Flickr I loved it!. I think your ideas for this are really good, the hand written recipe pieces, the little vintage picture and the beautiful crochet top edge and cord which brings the red, white and blue colour theme all together, oh and the tiny little buttons! all lovely
ReplyDeleteThank you Yvonne, you're very kind :D
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all this I really am. So much to keep the old grey matter ticking over :0)
