This time of the year I am normally busy in my greenhouse transplanting out my seedlings that I have sewn- not this year though, waiting for some warmer dry weather!
I took one of the seed packets waiting to be sewn and used Omni-Gel to do an image transfer. I applied the image to crumpled brown paper bonded to craft vilene and coloured with Brusho inks. The words were printed onto acetate bonded to tissue with Klear. Flowers, brads, lolly stick and garden string embellishments from my stash.
A gorgeous tag - I love the hot colours. The twine and lolly stick work so well - clever idea!
ReplyDeleteOh I said to myself what gorgeous colours.

One I Made Earlier Today
Very vibrant. I like the way it looks like a plant marker with the lolly stick. I too am waiting for warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteLove how it looks like a plant marker, and the bold colours! Valerie
ReplyDeleteWonderful how you have handmade flowers that are the same as the seed packet. Vibrant is the word, pity the tag isn't waterproof it would make a great plant tag.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! The stick/stake at the bottom is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag...love the elements you have used and how well you have matched your flower embellies with the stunning colours of the seed packet.
