Seabirds

I would love to live by the sea, but a, can't afford it and b, my family live here! However if I ever need to have  time out and refresh I have to go to the shore and listen to the seagull cry. Even though I know they are a pest they are part of the whole wonderful experience for me. The crashing waves, the golden sand, the fresh smell of salt spray and their mournful cry. This is a watercoloured tag in which I have tried to capture the essence of this experience.
tah tuesday, seabirds
I used parts of three different stamps and tried to make the seagulls look as if they are circling over my chair which I have decoupaged for extra dimension.
tag tuesday, seabirds
Wouldn't it be great to sit just there right now with the sun out and nothing to do but read and craft and just be! One of my favourite sayings is: 'A life without dreams is like a winged bird that cannot fly'  so I shall to work now and be sure to pack my dreams!
Great tags last week girls, isn't this fun? Have a great week. x
ps. Sorry Arnoldo, I mean girls plus boys! x

  2. This is gorgeous. I miss living near the sea here. The next possibility is about three hours drive each way, and that's too far and too much gas for the car. But I do have the Rhine! Valerie

  17. I too love the sea Barb, but it would be better to live BY it as your dream and sit in a comfy chair like yours. I love the words you have written on the tag - so, so true to how I feel when I have been along a breezy shore. Have a great week :0)

  19. You created a truly inviting scene through your imagery and colors. Blessings! (Thanks for the correction in your closing. I should be used to it, since I live and work primarily with women. LOL!)
