Funfair

What amazing Games tags for last week! its great to see the variety of our ideas and inspiration!  Most brought back lovely childhood memories.
My FUNFAIR tags were inspired by a photo of a Carousel Horse in this week’s Sunday Telegraph Magazine. Its Union Jack colours made me think of Great British Fun Fairs and The Dorset Steam Fair.  Using a red card tag as a base with sparkly gems for lights and gold ric-rac the whole length of the tag and over the end for a tie; this reminded me of the golden barley-twist poles on the Carousel.  I made two similar tags using the same materials.
On this tag I have used sticky sparkly gems to echo the lights on the carousel; The picture behind is of the Dorset Steam Fair.

Thank you once again for all your kind comments.  I'm off now to admire all your Funfair creations, bye for now,

Jane xx

  5. Loving the carousel horses! I always wanted a ride on one, but there never were any where I went - only ever in the films. I'm loving the themes that bring memories back to people around here. So many tales to read :0)

  10. The article in the magazine was actually about Gerry Cottle, the circus owner, which caught my eye for next week's theme! Jane xx
