I grew up in Kentucky and one of the best things that happened in August was the State Fair! I loved everything about it: the quilt exhibits, the prize pigs, the horse show, the food on sticks (corn dogs, cotton candy, candy apples, corn on the cob on the stick), and the rides. I couldn't decide on just one aspect of the fair to share, so my tag has them all and serves as an advertisement for The Kentucky State Fair! Come one, come all! I drew most of the tag, cutting some pieces out and using mounting tape to give them dimension. The little quilt is actually a piece that i painted and quilted on my sewing machine.
Enjoy the fair!
Beautiful piece, love that little quilt! Valerie
