Rainy Day

Hi everyone. I guess here in the UK we have plenty of inspiration for this weeks tags! I thought I would try something a little different for me and use beads, so I brought three little pots of seed beads in silver and inky blue, but I can tell you my eyes were hurting after just doing this, so goodness knows how people manage all that intricate bead work. It was a challenge to thread the bead needle!

I used a basic grey felt for the tag and a darker grey for the cloud that I lightly stuffed. Then I layered grey chiffon over the top and began the beading also using a dismantled old bracelet of aurora crystals. Then I sorted through my beads for the rainbow and threaded it onto wire so that it stood up a little. Then the tag is stuck onto pelmet vylene for strength. The quote is by G K Chesterton. Fun to do but I shall lay off little beads for a while!
Fantastic tags last week and already I can see Rain masterpieces on the blog, looks like it will be another great week, hope you all enjoy yourselves. Hugs x
