The Rain is Raining

Okay well I thought this one would come together real quick as I knew I had lots of children books with lots of sweet graphics....but nothing really grabbed me. Until I opened the very last one - A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson (an older edition).

And there it was - The rain is raining all around - what a wonderful image and I loved the three little girls with their umbrellas that went with it.
The blue fabric background has a wonderful water drop pattern. I mixed up the thread colours to give it a little pop.
Thank you everyone for all your kind comments last week. I just want to make one blanket statement - ALL YOUR WORK IS WONDERFUL and I so enjoy seeing what everyone does and how they do it - thanks again Carolyn - I know we are into the home stretch and I've loved every minute. Jewels
