Well this is a bit different from what I first had in mind - I went straight out and picked some beautiful Honesty seed heads and downloaded a fabulous vintage illustration to go with them but it just wouldn't come together, so I had to re-think .... and after all pea pods ARE seed pods aren't they?
So here is my effort, photographed against one of my many gardening books ...
I cut the tag shape from a vintage advertising poster so it looks a bit like a seed packet I thought, then I made the pods from scrapbook paper - wrapped around some beads to help with the pea shapes. And of course more of my favourite garden twine to finish it off.
You know how some quite ordinary things just sing to you every time you use them? Well, I have one of those enamelled tin string holders with a hole in the top, picked it up for a couple of quid, looks old although it's not, and I love it! another example is an old flour shaker I rescued from somewhere ... is it just me?!
Ok, off to look at all your little works of genius now ... it's an inspiration every single week :o)
