Happy Tuesday Fellow Taggers!
I hope you have all had a fandabulous week. I can see from the tags already posted that the hedgerows and flower beds are being raided for inspiration and materials. Before I show my tag I just want to say how amazing I think last weeks rust tags were. I think I visited all of them, but apologies if I didn't. I didn't take part last week as my own experiment (of 3 weeks!) to make some cloth rusty didn't work and I didn't have anything to fall back on. This shows my lack of artistic skills and know-how, but I am learning, so no biggy.
Anyhoo, this week, I enjoyed scrabbling about in the garden to see what was available to pluck in it's seeded form. I found a few seed heads from clematis and some sycamore seeds, (one of my favourite Autumnal 'toys'), and some seed heads from a Crocosmia.
I 'drew' a basic flower shape in liquid glue and sprinkled on a mix of old packet seeds; tomatoes, lavender, marigolds, leeks and radish. I then stuck on the clematis seed head, sycamore seeds for leaves and then added the other bits around. I had previously put some Antique Linen DI (for want of another colour) onto the yellow tag and edged it in the same. I'm reasonably pleased with the result. Any hints and tips for improvement are gratefully received.
Thanks for looking; now I'm off to look at any tags I've missed so far. *hugs* x
