A is for artdoll

For some time now I've been hankering to do a flat paper art doll and when I began to think about what I wanted to do for the letter A, this gal came into being:

I tore two pages from an old Margaret Laurence novel. On one I drew and painted a gal with some wild hairdo. I love her hair. She is done with pencil crayons and watercolour. Her dress is a glued-on napkin, and the sentence at the bottom of her frock is cut as a whole sentence from the other page of the novel. I am giving her the name "Deirdre."
I love the 'A's in this theme for the week. Lovely work all around. *smiles* Norma, x
