Happy 2013 to all,
After much deliberation, I decided on a theme for the alphabet tags... Australian trees/plants. I realise that they might not be familiar to many of you, but I am trying to choose the more common native plants and some of those in my own garden and neighbourhood. A is for Acacia. There are many varieties, but the most well known is Acacia pycnantha , Australian Golden Wattle, which is our floral emblem. I made this stitched tag with very simple applique and the machine embroidered word at the bottom. I wrote some details on the back of the tag, mainly to jog my own memory.
Looking forward now to looking at all your wonderful tags , Wilma
