... is for Dorothy in the Land of Oz with her magical Ruby Slippers - can you tell that I've been playing with Graphic 45 papers again?! I've always loved stories like this, where someone escapes from the real world, has all kinds of exciting adventures and then gets home in time for tea. Alice in Wonderland is another great favourite ... now there's an idea for G45 :o)
Anyway, here's my tag
I stamped some newsprint background on my tag first, then added the ruby slippers advert, the alpha and the little cutout of Dorothy. Are you ready for your close-up Miss Dorothy?
I used Distress Inks to colour the background, the alpha and little Dorothy, some Ruby Red Stickles on the slippers and finally some gingham ribbon to match her pinafore.
Well, I'm going to have a lovely browse through all your fabulous "D" creations now ... it's always so much fun to see what everyone's come up with.
Cheerio for now :o)
What a nice choice for "D!" Love the subtle inking. Well done!

ReplyDeleteThis is fab, Annie! The red stickles are just right for the slippers. Love the newsprint stamp - what make is it? Carolyn x
ReplyDeleteSorry Carolyn, I've had that stamp so long I can't remember what make it is but I do love it - it's a clear set which also has one of those pointing fingers and I use them such a lot.
