Hi all, I am back in the UK again now, and spent yesterday in my craft room trying to catch up on things. Here are my catch-up tags for the last three weeks -
C is for CORSET -
I used two different ads from a 1909 French magazine called Je Sais Tout, one for the background scene, which was an ad for a furniture company and one for the corset, which apparently was created by Madame Bellanger :-). I love these old advertisements. The tie-on ribbon is a piece of corset string.
D is for DRESS -
What a dress, eh? Can you imagine walking around in one of these? I did love the colour though, and I found a piece of antique French braid which matched pretty well, and some nice blue bling as well.
E is for EIFFEL TOWER -
Having just spent three weeks in France, it had to be E for Eiffel Tower of course. I use this particular image from one of my old postcards a lot.
It is great to be back! Toodlepip xxx
All are just lovely! No, I can't imagine wearing one of those dresses-- or a corset!
