H is for Hen
Hi Everybody!
Another lovely set of tags for F last week! Sorry I ran out of time to comment on them. I do enjoy commenting and getting to know you all.
As I thought I had done quite a bit of collage recently, this week's tag is stitched.
I used a drawing I made a while ago, when I was trying to capture a pecking hen on paper, whilst on holiday. I spent ages following the hens around, doing lightning sketches before they moved again! I photographed my stitched hen against a straw hat as that seemed appropriate.
Off to make a cuppa and look at your tags now!
Very cute-- liking the colors too!

ReplyDeleteYou have achieved such a wonderful 'country" feel to the hen tag. I really love the checked stitched background, too and the straw hat is a perfect complement.
ReplyDeleteLovely little stitched hen drawing Jane I like the effect too of the cross stitches on the checked fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little hen tag - you really caught the movement of her in your little outline drawing, and a lovely stitched background to put her on - perfect.

ReplyDeleteHi Jane I love the gingham embroidered frame on your tag. It looks like a tiny quilt.
