Happy Tuesday! Thank you for the nice comments on my Roaring Twenties tag - those make my day. :)
The star of my tag this week is a lovely little seahorse. The colors are all Dylusions ink sprays with the exception of the black (Sharpie and Versafine) and white (Signo Uniball pen). After spraying the whole background I used the watercolor technique to remove color and add it back in. The water drops are a separate stamp and I again removed color and added a white dot to make them look realistic.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's fish tags. Have a great week!
Lovely tag, those water drops look sooooooooooo real! Valerie

I don't know how you did your drops of water but they look SO real. I really like your whole tag...the colorful border, the background and the adorable sea horse. A fun tag.

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet little seahorse! Love the colors too, and the water droplets are amazing. I wondered what kind of acrylic they were until I read that they were stamped. You did a great job bring them to reality with your pen and ink.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful tag and I love the way you added the while to the drops--it makes such a difference

Beautiful, gorgeous image and such lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteThis is an exceptional tag. The color is brilliant and you used it effectively. The drops of water appear to be real, so your technique was very effective. I went back to look at them several times, hoping that I can match that technique some time.
