Fish

Hi Everyone
Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my Roaring Twenties tag last week. You are all such a kind and generous bunch and I am delighted and honoured to be a part of this group *hugs*hugs*hugs*
I must admit I was dreading this weeks theme - Fish - I know nothing about fish or fishing, so had absolutely no clue what I was going to do. Then I was doodling in a book the other night and drew a tag shape and the next thing I knew I had sketched the idea for my tag. I must say, I'm actually happy with the finished article.

I put broken china DI on the tag & then spritzed it with water, stamped & cut out a wee butterfly on some patterned paper and just glued it down. I drew my bucket & little fishy onto spare card and cut it out so I could 3D it with sticky pads, drew on my grass & then coloured them all with watercolour pencils. I added some food wrap to look like water. Do you think it does?
Then I found a piece of bamboo for the fishing pole & some wire for the line. The words were driving me nuts going around & round in my head; hope it's not too long before they float away, haha. I fitted an eyelet & used some silver thread for my tie (couldn't find any old fishing line). I layered the tag onto another piece of card that I edged with a darker green watercolour.
To take my photo I placed the tag on what I think is an amusing cartoon picture. (It's part of a card for an angler). Well  that's it. I thank you for looking and can't wait to see what fishy things you all create this week.
Ta-ta for now, stay well, be happy & I'm open for any invites to parties celebrating the birth of the newest royal prince, hehe ;) Mo xx
