Letter Z

My second tag for Tag Tuesday and a huge thank you for the wonderful comments on my first tag post and for the warm welcome.

My word for Z is Zentagle

I remember when this sort of artwork was called doodling and I used to do it all the time in the margins of my school exercise books. This usually meant I ended up in detention as the margin was for teachers remarks. Almost 60 years ago so I expect things have changed.

I drew the zentagle on a plain tag, masked it and distressed around it. Next came the fancy corner punch and then I added another tag behind to show up the corners better.

  1. Great tag, and I had the same experience at school! one teacher wrote 'Slut!' in my exercise book! Hugs, Valerie

  3. Great tag Chrissie! Like you, I spent hours doodling in the back of school books and got told off for it too! Who would have thought it would be reborn as 'zentangle'?
