Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a good week. The Y tags were brilliant! We are definitely being more imaginative with the more difficult letters! It was nice to have your comments,so thank you.
For my Z tag I have done
Z is for Zinnia
Zinnias are such a pretty flower, and luckily they begin with Z ! This is not an exact representation of what they look like, but they are colourful and have lots of layers of petals.
I used my new Gelli plate- which I am using all the time now! You can read about it and see my experiments with it on my blog here. I used flower cut outs from a punch as resist and then added the cut out flowers (made from an old gardening catalogue-see I knew it would come in handy!)
The alphabet challenge has been great fun to do, and I can't believe we are at the end of it! I have enjoyed working with you all. I am really looking forward to Carolyn Howarth's new challenges. Off to look at your Z tags now!
Really lovely, wonderful colours! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI am sitting at my desk in my little craft room looking out on a bed of zinnias! They are a lovely flower and so is your tag! Glad you are looking forward to the new challenges.

Zinnias are my favorite! Fab tag!
ReplyDeleteGreat letter Z. They do look like zinnias!
ReplyDeleteZinnias are very pretty and you have shown them beautifully. Gelli plates are very popluar I've noticed, but not something I have room for so I try not to dream, haha :0)
ReplyDeleteZinnias are lovely flowers and these here made from a catalogue are so colourful! A great way to recycle:)

Love the flowers made from the catalogue - such a great idea. I'm a big gelli plate fan too but still at beginner level!

Clever, clever, clever, I love this and so want a gelli plate now! X
ReplyDeleteVery nice tag! Love the dimension of the flowers. I have no idea what a gelli plate is, but I think I must investigate!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag and a great word to chose. You have done some wonderful gelli prints-thank you for the link to those.
