I got married in 1962 and had my first baby in 1964 and another one in 1966 so much of the 'Swinging 60s' passed me by as far as the 'swinging' bit was concerned. I did listen to the radio quite a lot though and followed the fashions in the magazines and newspapers and I loved the designs of the time
I would still like one of the camper vans with the bright colours -someone visits a relative, near to where I live, in one that has some wonderful paintings of flowers on it.

Beautiful tag Chrissie. We used to have one of those VW campers, I loved it! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYes your tag nailed the era Chrissie! I can imagine how busy you were. For me it was school and the incredible desire to learn that over arched everything else!
ReplyDeleteI live close to a world famous surfing spot here in Australia and the VW's are very trendy indeed!
Brilliant tag - captures the era perfectly! Carolyn xx

We own a split screen camper, not painted so beautifully as your tag one. It took my daughter to her wedding! Great tag. x
ReplyDeleteOh my, you were busy. I'm almost surprised that you remember enough to have created such a cool tag. I was a kid during most of the 60s and I can't recall anything of popular culture from the mid eighties when I had my child!
