Tattered and Torn

Hello Everyone.
This could be a description for me this week
Tattered, torn but on the mend!

Amongst my treasures are small packets that have scraps and shreds of Japanese Kimono fabrics that were
destined for the rag bags. I have been collecting and using these for years and always get excited when I spy another small bag for sale. Yes I love yutzen paper too!

What do I do with them?
I make myself pieces of what I call random fabric which often end up as panels and embellishments in art clothing.

My tag today is a combination of two little plays with the Embellisher and a new ( love) set of stamps
from Chocolate Baroque.

Shreds of fabric and bits of fibres are layered and needle felted until I like what I have.
The stamped pieces are stamped onto a ripped back off an upholstery sample.
( I wish you could feel the fluffy texture.)

The message is to remind me that sometimes we need to take a little time to let ideas and decisions
percolate and sift. Then my Life's glass can be excitingly Half Full again!
Have a wonderful week.
Julie
