For my Kings and Queens tag, I used one of my favorite punch-out embellishments of a crown from K & Company as the background piece. I added a cut out from a vintage playing card, showing a young royal couple.
I enjoy using greeting cards for tags; their art is always a good size for tag-making and when you find one you like, you get a whole bunch at a time! Above, one of the playing cards in the same set with the King and Queen. (Also -- you can see in this photo that I made an extra-small tag this time.)
I added a word at the bottom, "destiny" -- one of the elements of royalty that, I think, always intrigues us commoners.
I once again waited in vain for the sun to come out so I could get a better/lighter photo of my tag; alas, this was the view outside my window in Colorado today! But it's cozy inside.
Very well done-- like the colors!
