12 days of christmas

i really struggled with how to convey this very favorite christmas carol on a single tag!  but i remembered a stamp i have with dancing ladies so i decided to focus on "9 ladies dancing."  i thought the stamp had 3 dancing ladies so i planned to stamp it three times but things got complicated -- the 100proofpress stamp actually had 5 ladies dancing on it.  so first i inked and stamped 4 of the ladies and then re-inked the whole stamp and by a miracle of christmas succeeded in getting a decent image.  the rest is just happy paper layering and embellishment.

love to all in this happy season!

  2. Terrific tag and a wonderful idea to use the stamp a few times to get a group of ladies dancing.

  4. Awesome stamping Michele. It is a lovely stamp and I really like how you distressed the edges. I also really like the red ribbon, the roses strip & the backgrond is a great contrast. Love it all really :o))

  11. Great stamping with a tricky technique. I wanted to do the ladies dancing, too, but couldn't come up with anything, good for you!
