The Twelve Days of Christmas

Happy Tag Tuesday! I hope you are staying warm and toasty and are taking good card of yourself. Remember to have a nice cuppa and enjoy your winter crafting. It is snowy and extremely cold here in the Ozarks--which makes for a very Christmassy atmosphere everywhere you go!

I've always loved the Twelve Days of Christmas song since I was little. I began with a white cardstock tag for this project, stamped musical bars in green distress ink--added the words to the song and a typewriter as a nod to the author. Then I found this old illustration, and it was perfect for my tag! Trimmed in crochet I finished it off with stars because I had the Big Shot out and had cut out tons of stars for cards and things! I love having these holiday tags as part of my decorations too. Going 'round for a visit now!

  6. I love the song too Sandy. I remember driving my grandma nuts one year singing it over & over, haha.
I like the whole of your tag - the background, the stars, the wee images - all of it :o)
