One of the things I love so much about being at our cottage in France during the winter is that the snow stays so pristinely white and sparkly, because nothing apart from the odd hare, wild boar or deer moves through it. I wanted to recreate that sparkle on the WINTER LANDSCAPE tag. Oh boy, I don't think there is a square inch of me or my desk which is isn't covered in ultra fine glitter, lol. And you can't even see it properly in some of the photographs, grr! Anyhoo, here is my very last tag of 2013 -
I wish you all a happy 2014, may all your wishes come true!

I love this Liz! So elegant and pretty. We don't often get snow in our part of France although it does get very cold. By the way, you asked me a couple of weeks ago where I got the cotton for the printer - I didn't buy it in France (don't you find craft supplies very difficult to find here?) but I bought it from a fabulous website called www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk who I can thoroughly recommend. They supply all sorts of interesting things such as freezer paper for transfers, canvas and cotton that go through the printer and TAP artists' transfer paper, etc.

What a beautiful sky color! Well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely tag. The church is a good choice of subject. Like you, I like to use that fine glitter, and am usually covered in it too!

Gorgeous tag, love the soft look of the colours you have used.
ReplyDeleteThis is reminiscent of lovely, simple times long past. I love the colors and the image. I love glitter but it doesn't photograph well. Even without it, it's a gorgeous tag.
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty Valerie.

ReplyDeleteAhh, Lululiz, that is so pretty! I like the clever use of the cloth & the lace & jewel at the bottom are so lovely. Your church is super sweet too. Love it all. Happy New Year :o)
