For this theme I went for the decaying surface and decaying leaves and flowers. The tag background was made up from texture paste at the bottom, crackle paint in the middle, and distress ink at the top. I stamped a few skeleton leaves on the top piece, and stuck on a decayed leaf, stamped some leaves on card and distressed them, and placed them over the stamped images. At the bottom of the tag I stuck on some decaying leaves, flowers and seed heads that I just happened to have in my stash. ( I knew they would come in useful one day)
I hasten to add this tag was made silly early hours UK, as I couldn't sleep.

Fantastic tag, Wendy - I'm glad other people collect strange things, too....Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat's a fab tag Wendy. I also have a box of gathered debris, but forgot all about it! *sigh*, haha. I often find the wee silly hours are the best for creating. It's much better than tossing & turning anyway isn't it :o)
ReplyDeleteWonderful tag with some terrific ideas. I went for decaying leaves as well

ReplyDeleteIt's terrific Wnedy what turns out to be exactly right in our art. Your tag is so like the forest floor and what better place to see the magic of replenishing quietly happening.
