I found this one quite difficult, as I prefer to use my own stamps and images, and this time I had to resort to Google. I coloured the background with distress inks, and then added the images. I did have the crocodile and coin stamp though. I added one photograph of the twelve apostles coast, which we flew down in a helicopter, which was fabulous. We stayed on Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef, and saw the green turtles come ashore to lay their eggs, hence the turtle charm at the bottom.
The lizard is made from friendly plastic. I would just love to go back one day.

Lovely lot of images here on your tag and I'm jealous of the charm, I completely forgot I have one too! Haha. How wonderful that you got to visit and actually saw the turtles for real. Hopefully one day you will go back and can tell us all about it :o)
ReplyDeleteYour embellishments make this a wonderful tag. The turtle, gecko and coin stamp just make the tag so interesting.
ReplyDeletean excellent australian-themed collage tag! xo
ReplyDeleteSadly there are no longer Twelve Apostles Wendy as the erosion from the Southern Ocean smashes these apart. I, obviously love all the elements you have used and I hope you do get to see out Wide Brown Land again!
ReplyDeleteLove the images you have chosen. You must have had a wonderful trip! How lovely that you were able to use your charm to remind you of what must have been an amazing sight! Carolyn xx
ReplyDeleteGreat images of Australia! It is fortunate that you saw the twelve Apostles, as there are now only eight remaining, I think.
ReplyDeleteI like the flow of your collage, and the clever embellishments that you added. Blessings!
