Key to My Heart

Inspired by one of my favorite poets, John Keats,
and by one of my favorite films, Bright Star.

Postmark:  Newport, July 3, 1819

I almost wish we were butterflies and liv'd but three summer days--three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain.

from John Keat's love letters to Fanny Brawne

Oh, the written word...nothing like it.

Thank you for the lovely comments, storytellers.

Tim Holtz papers and inks, hand-stamped, distressed, embellished w/metal key and lock, cardboard dove, and handmade book page rosettes.
