Stripes and spots

Hi everybody!

It was rather disappointing last week that so few people joined in, so I am hoping that this week there will be more!

Our theme this week is 'spots and stripes' - or is it 'stripes and spots'? Whatever, I had fun striping and spotting, or was it stripping and spitting or....?

I used my lovely cup stencils, painted them with black gesso onto some white scrap card, and then just played with a white gel pen when it was dry - it was fun! The butterfly was flying around my table, and fitted, so now it's here. I mounted it onto some black matting, and that was it!

Looking forward to seeing your tags this week, and hopefully, lots of them!

Have a great day, take care, and thanks a lot for coming by!

Valerie

Love them. I'm after a new cup and would love to find one like these. Your butterfly is very pretty too. :o) x

Lovely tag Val, black and white is always a fashion statement. I used to have cups like these back in the 60s! Have a great day, hugs, Sarah

  6. Love this, Valerie. There is something very appealing about the wibbly wobbly pile of cups and I love the black and white - so chic! Carolyn xx
