Christmas Angels

Hi everyone,

My tag for this week's theme was inspired by my niece Georgie and happy memories of watching school nativity plays many years ago ...

... old sheets, tinsel, teatowels on heads for shepherds, fur fabric donkey tails, jumpers for goal posts ... aahh, those were the days. Now it seems that all kinds of characters crop up in school Christmas plays doesn't it? Mince pies, clowns, all sorts - do they still have angels with tinsel halos though?!

Here's a close-up of my tag, which I photographed against some cloudy scrapbook paper ...

I typed the words on my fab vintage typewriter (early Christmas present from my lovely husband who carried her all the way home for me) and finished them with a touch of Inka Gold. The fabric I've used is cotton cheesecloth from my local supermarket - it's meant for jam-making, but is perfect for artyfarty stuff.

Thanks for having a look at my tag, looking forward to checking out everyone else's angels now - see you next week for a very vintage Christmas!
