Diva - Gina Lollobrigida

For me, the word DIVA conjures up images of glamorous women, fabulous dresses, glittering jewels and above all drama. Therefore it just had to be a dramatic black and silver colour scheme. My DIVA is the beautiful Gina Lollobrigida. She was such a beauty -

I had some gorgeous black paper with raised silver designs, and I used one of those for the background. I added some vintage swarovski trim at the bottom, cut some flower shaped trim into individual flowers, and gave her a very blingy necklace. I added the word DIVA simply outlined in red for a teensy bit of colour. Photographed it on a vintage French silver trivet, which I thought was a suitably dramatic background for my DIVA.
