I loved the theme this week and the chance to make a tag
in the style of one of my most favourite mixed media collage artists
so here is my effort ... in the style of Kurt Schwitters
I studied his mixed media work and assemblages for textiles at uni in 2004
and I was very fortunate to see the retrospective show of Kurt Schwitter's work
at Tate Britain in London in February 2013

Great tag - I taught for a while at the Kurt Schwitters school here! Hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteI do not know this artist, (or many at all), but from what I have seen via Google, the style seems to leave the viewer excited for more I think. I love what you have done Carolyn.

Not an artist I am familiar with, but love your take on it.
ReplyDeleteHave to confess, I had to look up the artist's info - glad I did. Your tag is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant tag - you've captured his style perfectly, love the vintage vibe, I would want to frame this and put it on the wall :o)
ReplyDeleteI had to google this artist, as I was unfamiliar with his work. I can see why you like him so much. You totally cracked it with your tag, it is very much in his style.
