Text

I am very happy to be back here with another great theme. Thank you so much Carolyn Howarth for the weekly challenges, they surely keep me on my toes.
Many thanks to everyone for your comments on my Valentine tag last week, I appreciate them very much. What cracking tags there were; infusing the blogasphere with romance. I hope you all got to spend some time with those you love.

I got to photograph this weeks tag outside yesterday as we have been enjoying some early Spring weather, but I am keeping in my thoughts all those in the midst of severe cold and snow; I hope you are able to stay safe and warm.

For my tag I used a page from a dictionary and a page from a thesaurus, both having the word Text on them. They are the highlighted words on the right. I swiped some distress inks around the edge of the tag, which is a fine and sturdy mens clothing tag and I sprayed a book page with some blue ink. I die cut TEXT from the inked page, which I glued down and added a quote in gold pen. The quote says, Sometimes I Plan, Sometimes I Just Wing It. I've seen the quote in many places but without attribution. Finally I added some crinkle ribbon for the tie.

  4. I like that you have used the definitions! I also like the saying - as a teacher I am guilty of it from time to time! Great tag, Mo!
