Hello everyone!
Sorry I have been missing for a few weeks; I have been on a trip to Venice which was to celebrate a big birthday I had earlier in the year, then our daughter flew out from England for a holiday during which I tripped and fell flat on my face on the pavement so now have lots of bruises, a fat lip and some stitches! Anyway I am now ready to start crafting again!!
My tag this week has a distressed white background created with gesso, crackle medium and some pumice stone distress ink. I can't remember where the birdie is from. I then printed our and inked up the little saying and finished off with some paper ribbon.
Have a good week everyone and I'll see you soon.
Carolyn xx
Beautiful tag - sounds like you have had a lot of adventures, and not all of them good - hope you are well again. Valerie
ReplyDeleteOh no, you poor thing, I hope you heal quickly.
ReplyDeleteYour tag is lovely, I really like the crackled background :D
Get well soon! Love the crackle and the tag shape.
ReplyDeleteall the best! This is so SWEET!
ReplyDeleteAre u talking Venice Italy, or Venice Beach Los Angeles Carolyn?
ReplyDeleteI know how much of a shock it is finding yourself flat on the ground!!
The family dog ran off while the lead was looped through my wrist! Nobody told me doing that was a no no!!
My head smacked the ground and my glasses gouged chunks of my skin off my cheekbone!! I had a massive headache for 3 days!! Took some getting over!
I think your tag is very creative, and edging the words with color was a brilliant move.
the tag is gorgeous but I'm awfully sorry about your accident. I hope you heal swiftly and we'll. And I hope you had some fun before you fell! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the crackle background to your gorgeous tag. Hope you get better asap.
ReplyDeleteOh Carolyn, you poor thing, I hope you are healing well and the bruises are fading. Glad to see you making tags again. This one is so sweet, I adore the crackle background, which sets off the birdie so nicely.
ReplyDeleteI love crackle! Seems like forever since I've played with it myself.
