The poem 'Auguries of Innocence' by William Blake, contains the quote I have used on my tag.
'A Robin Redbreast in a cage
Puts all of Heaven in a rage'
To create my angry sky, I sprayed the tag with Brusho in Prussian Blue and purple before sprinkling on dishwasher salt. The cage and bird was cut on my Big Shot using a Tim Holtz die. Velum tags stamped and brads for embellishments.
O my word I Love it, Fantastic Tag, great use of diswasher salt, would never have thought of that one Fabulous! May x x x
ReplyDeleteThis quote is so well depicted here - I love it and my only wish is that the bird was free.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of birds in cages..... but I LOVE your one!
ReplyDeleteLove the dangly words especially.
The robin is very dear to my heart as it reminds me of my late Mum. What a beautiful quote and what a beautiful tag.
ReplyDeleteSo clever, a really special tag. X
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little tag x
ReplyDeleteI love this tag and fab words and I so agree with them. The tag colour is perfect, a new technique to me the se of dishwasher salt. Sandra X

Great quote and I love your robin - one of my favourite birds. xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag, well done
ReplyDeleteI've always loved William Blake--your tag is awesome--curious to know what "dishwasher salt" is, though?
ReplyDeleteSomething I had left over from when I had used to have a dishwasher. Huuby now has that job.
DeleteI really love this tag - and of course, Blake's poem. I am also reminded of the story of the Chinese emperor and the nightingale he tried to cage. It's a story of my childhood.
ReplyDeleteLove the poem and love the tag - absolutely stunning
ReplyDeleteLove the cage here. Nice 3-D. I've always loved Prussian blue (so romantic sounding) and William Blake. Love this tag to bits. *smiles* Norma
